Key Responsibilities
Develop Behavior Programs
Work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop individualized behavior intervention programs for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Guide Therapy Sessions
Deliver feedback and support to behavior therapists as they provide 1:1 therapy to meet clients' needs.
Collaborative, Integrative Partnerships
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including BCBA, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and parents, to ensure holistic and effective treatment plans.
Parental Support and Training
Provide training to parents and caregivers, equipping them with the skills to implement behavioral strategies at home and in the community.
Skills and Experience Gained

Acquire hands-on experience in behavior management and intervention strategies. With ongoing training for up-to-date ABA strategies and principles.

Use observation and various assessment tools, like VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R, to inform therapy decisions.
